i'm new to pilates - what can i expect
welcome! Reformer pilates is a full body, resistance based workout which makes it suitable for any ability as you pick your own tension for the exercise.
Reformer Pilates has a similar feel to mat pilates, just with the addition of more equipment.
you won’t leave in buckets of sweat or a high heart rate, but you will leave with that burn we all want!
We recommend starting with a beginner flow class to understand how reformer works, and explore from there.
-
What are the benefits of reformer pilates?
There are countless benefits to Reformer Pilates, but five of the key ones include improved core strength, better posture, increased flexibility, enhanced muscle tone, and greater body awareness.
Because it’s low-impact and highly adaptable, Reformer Pilates is suitable for all ages and fitness levels — whether you're recovering from injury, building strength, or simply looking to move with more ease and control, everyone can benefit from incorporating reformer into their routine.
